With just 5 days before the start of new school year, this week’s Throwback Thursday Pic is of the brand new Malden Public School. This photograph was taken not long after the school was completed in 1950. The school was finished at that time with just four classrooms, almost harking back to the days of one-room schools. Additions where made to the school in 1954, 1964 and 2014 to accommodate the expanding population of the Town of Amherstburg,  south of Windsor.
