Windsor Public Library staff are excited to be able to announce that we’re expanding our Speed Friending programming to a wider age range! We’ve tested the waters and had success (and lots of fun) with Speed Friending for the 18-35 age range. Due to popular demand, we’re rolling out an event for those 36-55 on Monday, February 26th at our new W.F. Chisholm Branch from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
If you’re between the ages of 36-55 and are new to the area or just looking to expand your circle of friends, you’re invited to join us for a fun evening of meeting and mingling. “What’s Speed Friending?”, you ask. Well, Speed Friending brings together a group of folks looking to make new friend connections in a relaxed environment. You’ll circulate among other attendees and meet a new potential pal every 5-7 minutes. Bring a favorite read as a conversation piece or use the provided conversation starters to learn more about your new pals and find common interests. At the end of the event, simply fill out your match card indicating which attendees you clicked with, and we’ll release contact information to mutual matches. It’s a fun, low-key way to meet some like-minded folks.
Think Speed Friending is up your alley?

Hello,
It doesn’t say at what time the 36-55 Speed Friending group will be held on Feb. 26th.
Thanks,
6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. I have added the information on the page as well. Thanks!
47 looking to meet people, do you have any suggestions
Good Morning Wayne. We don’t currently have an event for this age group planned but hope to do so again in the fall. Please check back often for program offerings. However, WPL does have lots of other adult programs throughout the year. Perhaps you’d run into some like-minded folks there:)
