As of next Monday (August 17), public computer access will be available at all WPL branches – with Chisholm, Forest Glade and Seminole joining the list of locations already offering the service.
All public access computer stations are separated by Plexiglas dividers and social distancing between stations is in effect – resulting in a reduced number of computers in operation. Sessions begin on the hour and last for 45 minutes, with 15 minutes of the hour following use committed to sanitization and other appropriate health and safety procedures. Additionally, WPL follows provincially directed occupancy guidelines. Access to computers will be on a ‘first come first served’ basis – no appointments are necessary but customers should expect to wait, depending on computer availability.
Public computer access is available at Central Branch Monday-Thursday from 10 am- 8 pm and Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Computer access at branches is as follows: Monday and Wednesday from 1 – 8 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 11-6 pm and Friday and Saturday from 10 am-5 pm. The remaining branches will soon be open for public computer access.
The above info is great but conflicting. First it says that computer access is available at all WPL then states some branches are being added to the current list of those providing the access with other branches to be added. Which is it- all or selected branches?
Thanks for the opportunity to elaborate. As of Monday (August 17) this week, all branches are open for computer access.
Thanks for the clarification
