In order to keep its membership database current, WPL deletes accounts that have been expired for longer than three years. If you have an expired account, we invite you to visit your nearest library to renew your library account before that happens! Just bring in a piece of ID with your name and address along with your library card, and we can help you start using our wide range of resources once again. If you’ve lost your card, you can get a replacement for $2. You will need to clear up any existing fines or fees on your card as well. If you’re not sure whether you owe anything, just give us a call at 519-255-6770. We’d love to welcome you back!
I was wondering if there was any way I could renew my card online. It’s difficult for me to get around. Also, will I be able to use Libby, the app that allows borrowing from you online, or is that only acceptable in the USA.
Hello,
Unfortunately card renewals need to be done in person. You can reach out to our Accessibility Department to see if they can help because of your mobility issues. You can email them here.
Windsor Public Library uses Libby for magazines, but most of our ebooks and eaudiobooks are through CloudLibrary or Hoopla.
