Megan Wing & Aaron Lowe
Megan Wing and Aaron Lowe are an award winning Canadian ice dancing and figure skating duo.
From 1999-2006 Wing and Lowe resided in Windsor, Ontario. During this time, both earned their Master’s Degrees from the University of Windsor: Aaron Lowe in Human Kinetics with a major in Sport Management and Megan Wing in Applied Social Psychology.
Megan Wing was born November 1, 1975, in Vancouver, British Columbia. She began skating at five years old and began ice dancing at fourteen. Aaron Lowe was born October 12, 1974, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He began playing hockey at the age of seven before switching to figure skating at the age of nine. Wing and Lowe began skating together in 1986 at the Riley Park FSC in Vancouver. They began training as a duo for competitive ice-skating in 1992. In 1999, the couple moved to Windsor where they attended the University of Windsor, while competing in world championships. Together they won six bronze and four silver medals at the Canadian National Championships. The pair competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics, where they finished 11th overall. On April 25, 2006, Wing and Lowe announced their retirement from competitive skating. In 2007, the couple began coaching ice-skating in British Columbia. Their twins, Keauna Auburn Wing Lowe and Tayson Pierce Wing Lowe, were born on October 6, 2011.
