Windsor Public Library customers now have access to 100 popular Walt Disney movies which can be streamed to smart phones, tablets and computers. Thanks to a new content licensing agreement between The Walk Disney Studios and hoopla digital, public libraries across North America can now provide online and mobile access to all of the most popular Disney titles.
Hoopla digital is a category-creating service that partners with public libraries to provide online and mobile access to thousands of movies, TV shows, videos, music and audio books. Windsor Public Library has partnered with hoopla since 2013 to provide entertainment content on our website – www.windsorpubliclibrary.com.
“This is great news for customers of Windsor Public Library,” says WPL CEO Kitty Pope. “Many of us have grown up with Disney characters and Disney movies – they have become a way of life for many. Providing the opportunity for young area families to experience the magic that is Disney is fantastic.”
“Disney films are a staple in American culture and communities around the world and we are honored to continue our 25 year relationship through hoopla digital and parent company Midwest Tape, adding these digital titles to our public library partners and their patrons,” said Jeff Jankowski, founder and owner of hoopla digital.
To begin accessing titles from The Walt Disney Studios, WPL library card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile application on their Android or IOS device or visit hoopladigital.com. The service is only available to customers of participating public libraries.
