Frederick L. Howell
Frederick L. Howell was the 11th mayor of Windsor, and served in 1914 only. He was a jeweller and businessman by trade, and had been on the city council since 1908.
Prior to his involvement in civic affairs in Windsor, Howell worked closely with the London law office of Hon. David Mills, who was at the time the Minister of Justice. Howell was described as being energetic and having incredible zeal in the Windsor council debates.
He was born in London, Ontario, and married Mary Alice Gourley in Essex in 1902. Howell passed away in 1961, four years after his wife.
