Thank you for your interest in our Speed Friending event. We’ve sent you an e-mail with all of the details and look forward to seeing you this evening.
When is the next “Senior speed friending event”? When I saw it on Kijiji it was too late to attend. May be interested if there is another one.
Thanks for your interest in our Senior Speed Friending event. We hope to hold another event in the coming months but don’t currently have a date chosen. Future events will be advertised via our online Event Calendar and in our program guide, so check back often.
I am interested in this concept of speed friending. Please send me any info available. Also, I live in McGregor. Is there anything available for ppl in the middle of the county?
Thank you for your comment. We will respond with more information via e-mail.
Hi, I am also new to the area. I would appreciate meeting other ppl in the area. I love to find what the area has to offer, also meeting new friends.
Thank you.
Thank you for your interest, Wanda. Unfortunately at this time we are unable to run in-person programming. When we are able to do so we will certainly look at offering Speed Friending once again.
Hi!
I moved to Windsor in January 2022; it was still ‘deep pandemic’ at that time, so there were no groups that I could join to meet others.
I’d be very interested in something that brought over 55s together, hopefully even at our local libraries, so that we could make connections, and hopefully, friends.
Not sure if your coordinator (Leisa) is still looking to start this program up again; if she is, I’d love to hear what’s on the horizon.
And if you’re looking for group ‘leaders’, I’d be interested in helping in any way to get such a program off the ground.
I’ve recently been appointed to City Council’s “Age-Friendly Windsor Working Group” and hope to discover more age-friendly venues and events in the city.
cheers!

Thanks for reaching out to us! We try to offer programming for all groups. Our John Muir branch, for example, has an active on-going program for adults and seniors, including sewing sessions and an up-coming MARCH MURDER MYSTERY board game! Stop by any branch and staff can show you how to search our events calendar for programs geared specifically to the 55+ group.
