The Windsor Regional Society of Architects (WRSA) cares deeply about how our community looks, feels, and moves — and we’re teaming up with the Windsor Public Library (WPL) to hear from the next generation of creative thinkers.
And here’s the best part: WRSA will give away 2 BIKES!
Two lucky contestants (one age 8 to 11 and another age 12 to 14) will win a brand‑new bike and helmet!
Kids and youth often see their neighbourhoods with fresh eyes, and this contest is their chance to show us what makes Windsor special to them.
We’re inviting young participants to create a map by choosing a place they think is cool, fun, or meaningful, such as a park, building, mural, or favourite hangout—and then show the walking or biking route connecting their local library to that place.
Along the way, participants can highlight sidewalks, bike paths, crosswalks, and other features that help people move around safely.
Let’s explore our neighbourhoods together—one map at a time!
How to Participate:
- Choose a favourite place / building near your library and draw it.
This could be:
-A park or playground

A quick note describing the neighbourhood, the route from the library and what you like about your favourite place is welcome, and adults are welcome to help with this. Just keep it short and simple.
