Tales and Tails Program a Huge Success

Juniper enjoyed browsing books during the Tales & Tails program. We partnered with the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society, and the event was a huge success! Nearly 60 people attended to play with kittens, do cat-themed crafts, listen to story time, and take home cat-themed library books and movies. EWSWA Brings Green Bin Program to Local Libraries This Summer

Residents in Windsor and Essex County will be able to learn about the Green Bin Program at their local library this summer. Libraries will feature tabletop displays, Green Bin Guide FAQ pads, and collectable bookmarks featuring the EWSWA’s six Green Superheroes: Evangeline, Eugene, Colleen, Ameen, Granny Green, and newcomer Bean. The Windsor Regional Society of Architects (WRSA) and Windsor Public Library (WPL) are pleased to announce the winners of the “Urban Explorers and Future Architects” map contest. The contest encouraged participants to choose a meaningful destination—such as a park, building, mural, or gathering place—and illustrate the route connecting their local Windsor library branch to that location.
