The Windsor Public Library helps raise awareness and understanding during Black History Month each February.
This year, adults and seniors are invited to the Muir Branch for a discussion and presentation featuring the powerful words written and performed by Maya Angelou and Bob Marley. This series embraces the spirit of Farah Jasmine Griffin’s book, “Read Until You Understand.”
The first of four Thursdays dedicated to Black History will take place on February 6, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. A diverse selection of books covering various topics will be available for checkout so you can enjoy them at home.
Join us, share your stories, and receive a great booklist of materials available at your Windsor Public Libraries.
Looking forward to these Thursday’s!!! Love all the series we do at John Muir!!
Thanks Natalie, we appreciate your positive feedback and attendance.
