Summer Reading Program Guide Available and Kickoff Event July 7

The Summer Reading Program Guide is now available online.

Windsor Public Library (WPL) is thrilled to announce a summer packed with exciting activities for children of all ages, and all free of charge!

Special Event Kickoff:

Join us on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Chisholm Branch (1075 Ypres) for an afternoon of games, crafts, face painting, cake, and more. This event will spark children’s enthusiasm for all that we have to offer throughout the summer!

This year’s theme is “Read, Learn and Discover,” and kids of all ages will dive into stories and activities that encourage them to explore their own backyard—and beyond. From crafting to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to gaming, there’s something for everyone.

Running throughout July and August at all WPL locations, programs are designed to keep children engaged and excited about learning.

Parents and children can also pick up a Summer Reading Program (SRP) Package at any WPL location starting July 7. Attendees of the kickoff event can get theirs on the spot!

Windsor Public Library aims to inspire children to continue reading throughout the summer by encouraging regular visits to their public libraries.

For more information on all summer programs, visit your local WPL location or check out our online event calendar. Let’s make this summer unforgettable!
