The new Bookmobile,
FRED 2.0 is here!
Click on Services in the menu above and then look for the bookmobile photo for more information.  Or you can use the link below to access the bookmobile calendar directly.
The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

Windsor Public Library
is open 7 days a week in 9
locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, all branches of the Windsor Public Library will be closed. However, the library remains committed to fostering awareness, education, and reflection throughout the month of September. Displays of Indigenous content and resources are featured at branches across the city and online in our Digital Branch, and on YouTube, where Staff have prepared a special video presentation on Truth and Reconciliation. Windsor Public Library is proud to announce the expansion of its multilingual collection with the addition of 80 Ukrainian-language books, generously donated by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Toronto.
