The new Bookmobile,
FRED 2.0 is here!
Click on Services in the menu above and then look for the bookmobile photo for more information.  Or you can use the link below to access the bookmobile calendar directly.
The new bookmobile is equipped to offer the same services as a regular library branch, including book lending, digital resources, and various programs for all ages.
The Bookmobile schedule can also be found in the Events Calendar.

is open 7 days a week in 9
locations in 2026. Hours of operation are also standardized as noon to 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10 am to 6 pm on all other days.

Windsor Solar Project REA reports: for public inspection at Central

Windsor Solar LP is proposing to build a renewable energy generation project on lands owed by the City of Windsor and contained within the Windsor International Airport. The good people over at CBC Music have put together a list of some of the best songs in Canadian history.  While any best of list will inherently depend on factors such as taste, popularity, and other subjective matters I have to say that I like their list.  Personally I would have (for example) picked a different Arcade Fire song for their top piece and the best K.D. Robot Sumo

TWO ROBOTS ENTER; ONLY ONE LEAVES. This Saturday from 1-4 at Forest Glade Library, our friends from Hackforge will be putting on another great program: Robot Sumo.  Children & Teens ages 10-18 are invited to build a champion Sumo Robot using real world techniques.  They’ll have the opportunity to experiment with mechanics, sensors, and artificial intelligence. Longer checkout period for TV Series

You told us you couldn’t watch a whole season of a TV series in 3 days, and we listened. In response to customer requests, we are lengthening the loan period for adult TV series on DVD to 2 weeks – shortened to 1 week when the holds build up. City directories – A Valuable Resource

City directories are one of the most useful resources for genealogists. By City Directories, I do not mean telephone books. They are like having 2 books within 1 publication. These directories have an alphabetical listing by surname of people living in the community. The second half is an alphabetical listing of streets in the community.
